SF VA Medical Center taking comments on Environmental Impact Statement for Long Range Development Plan

The San Francisco VA Medical Center has prepared a Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for its Long Range Development Plan (LRDP). An EIS is required by the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and is an important tool for decision making.

There will be a 60-day public comment period for the Supplemental Draft EIS from March 9 — May 8, 2015. For comments to be considered they must be received by May 8, 2015.

PAR endorses SF Coalition to Underground Utilities plan

Recognizing the visual blight caused by the many overhead wires that mar the beauty and views of San Francisco, the Planning Association for the Richmond has put its support behind the plan proposed by the San Francisco Coalition to Underground Utilities (SFCUU) to have those overhead wires moved underground. PAR joins the SFCUU in advocating for the immediate implementation of the recommendations of the January 2007 Utility Undergrounding Task Force of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. SF Transportation Plan Meeting

To: Community Members Interested in the San Francisco Transportation Plan

Please find attached an agenda for our next meeting SFTP Community Advisory Committee meeting, which will be held on Wednesday July 13, 2011 from 6-8pm at Authority offices, 100 Van Ness Ave., 26th floor.

The San Francisco Transportation Plan is the City’s 25-year plan to identify goals, needs, and investment priorities for our transportation system being developed by the San Francisco County Transportation Authority (Authority). The Authority has appointed a Community Advisory Committee (CAC) to advise Authority staff on all aspects of the SFTP update. The SFTP CAC meets approximately quarterly and all meetings are open to the public.
