The Geary BRT Citizens Advisory Committee (GCAC) meets every two to three months to advise the San Francisco County Transportation Authority throughout the project's planning and environmental analysis phase. The GCAC consists of thirteen members, representing corridor and at-large interests. It provides input on refining BRT alternatives, considering project benefits and impacts for all users of the corridor, developing mitigation strategies, and identifying a preferred alternative.
There are six upcoming vacancies on the GCAC, all interested persons are invited to apply. The Transportation Authority Board will be considering the incumbent GCAC members and new applicants to fill these vacancies. GCAC members are expected to attend all meetings.
Applications are due on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. The application is available on the GCAC webpage and can be submitted electronically.
