Recognizing the visual blight caused by the many overhead wires that mar the beauty and views of San Francisco, the Planning Association for the Richmond has put its support behind the plan proposed by the San Francisco Coalition to Underground Utilities (SFCUU) to have those overhead wires moved underground. PAR joins the SFCUU in advocating for the immediate implementation of the recommendations of the January 2007 Utility Undergrounding Task Force of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.
