COMMEMORATE MEMORIAL DAY May 25 AT THE PRESIDIO

The Memorial Day Commemoration at the Presidio takes place on Monday, May 25. The event begins at 10:30 am at the Main Parade Ground. A march led by the 191st Army Band will proceed to National Cemetery. At 11 am, the formal ceremony will include a 21-gun salute by the U.S. Army’s 5th Brigade 75th Division. The ceremony will be followed by cemetery tours. 

After the commemoration, the public is invited to the Presidio Interfaith Center at 130 Fisher Loop to enjoy cookies and punch. A service begins at 1 pm with the presenting of the colors.
