Planning Association for the Richmond

PAR (Planning Association for the Richmond), the largest neighborhood organization in San Francisco, was established in 1970. Membership is open to everyone living, working, or owning property in the Richmond District of San Francisco. We are governed by an annually elected, 23-member Board of Directors which meets monthly.   Our newsletter is published quarterly prior to each General Membership Meeting.

We have a dues-paying membership of about 1,600 households in the Richmond District. As a 501c3 corporation, dues, starting at $15 per year, are tax deductible. This is our only source of income: in order to keep views and values grounded in the Richmond, operating funds are not accepted from any private or government body.
